🗑️ Account & Data Deletion Policy

DealZara provides users full transparency and control over their personal data in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and data protection regulations.

How to Delete Your Account

📱 Method 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

Log in to your DealZara mobile app or web portal.
Go to your Profile Settings (or visit Dashboard > Profile).
Scroll down to the ⚠️ Danger Zone section at the bottom of your personal info.
Click "Delete My Account" and type DELETE to confirm.
Your account and data will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out.

📧 Method 2: Manual Request via Support

If you are unable to log in or access your account, you can email our Data Protection Team at support@dealzara.in with your registered phone number and a request for account deletion. We will verify and process deletion within 48-72 business hours.

What Data Is Permanently Deleted?

When you delete your DealZara account, the following data is wiped permanently:

Account Details: Name, phone number, email address, profile avatar, and login credentials.
Hyperlocal Activity: Claimed discount vouchers, coupon history, and merchant visit records.
Rewards & Wallet: Accumulated DealZara reward coins, coin transaction logs, and unlocked tier badges.
Business Data (if applicable): Registered shop profiles, advertisements, and campaign leads.

Data Retention

We do not retain personal identifiable data once your account is deleted. Non-identifiable aggregated transaction analytics (such as general platform volume metrics) may be kept strictly for statutory tax and accounting obligations where required by law.
